Cwmsefin is a small farm on the outskirts of Brecon, ( http://www.brecontown.co.uk/ ) a gorgeous place to visit with many things to see & do. Please check out our events calendar for a list of local events that will make your stay more pleasurable
Our farm is around 350 years old and belongs to the Penpont estate. We are mainly a commercial beef and sheep farm although we do have a small flock of pedigree Berrichon du cher sheep, a small herd of pedigree British Black pigs and a herd of section A Welsh Mountain ponies and section D Welsh cobs under the prefix Cwmsefin. We are also about to make a foray into pedigree Simmental cattle.
We are finally in Organic Conversion & due to this we are considering growing organic fruit and vegetables so watch this space
We sell our meat either direct to the public or via our local mart. We occasionally have stock for sale so please visit the relevant page to find details of anything we may have available.
We market our home grown beef, lamb & pork so if you decide to stay with us please take the opportunity to take some of our meat home with you along with any fresh fruit & vegetables available at the time.
As you can see from the menu buttons opposite, diversification is the name of the game, We have had to diversify since the advent of Foot & Mouth which in itself caused farming practices to be questioned. So please browse the site & feel free to let us know if there is anything that you'd like to see on our site as we really run the site for those who wish to look at it.
Hope to see you soon,
Ian, Tracie & the Cwmsefin Clan
